A few things…
-While I was home for Memorial Day weekend, our doberman Nausea had puppies. We spent a few days trying to find where she’d had them with no luck. Finally on Tuesday morning, Nausea surfaced for some food and led my dad to where she was keeping her litter… my dad’s old living quarters in our barn. Want to know how many puppies this little dog pushed out of her? 11! ELEVEN PUPPIES! I just can’t get over how many puppies she had. It’s been a long time (atleast 15 years) since we had a dog who delivered puppies. Oh, and these will be expensive puppies considering the mommy was $2,000 and daddy Barron wasn’t exactly cheap!
-It’s MOVING WEEK. I can’t believe it’s finally here! When I return home this evening from my jobs I will arrive to an apartment with virtually NO furniture. Ashley is having movers come today to get all of her furniture, which is the majority of the apartment. While I’m looking forward to my new place and new roomie (Have I mentioned how BIG my closet is going to be???), I’m sad to be leaving Ashley behind (even though she hasn’t actually lived at our apartment since this fall), and I of course, hate the packing and details that come with moving.
-One really GREAT thing that has come with this moving is I found my cross necklace that I thought my apartment/kitty had eaten a few months ago! I’ve been sick over losing it, I’m never irresponsible when it comes to jewelry. It’s just a little cross necklace that my mom gave me for Christmas last year, and I could easily replace it for $150, but that’s not the point… there was some sentimental value to it, so I’m very happy to be wearing it today.
-Brad seems to be back to his old ways. Now the only question is will he salvage what’s left and bounce back or continue to spiral downward? Only time will tell… Frankly, I’ve lost patience for him. Guess he’s lucky to have my parents, for now.
-I am so happy to have Sarah Falkenstein in my life. If it wasn’t for her, I would laugh a lot less and not be thankful for my somewhat “normal” life! I swear if I didn’t know her personally and didn’t witness half the things that happen to her, I’d think she’s the world’s biggest liar. Unfortunately, it’s all true and actually does happen to her…. but atleast it provides me with great entertainment! Love you, Duchess!
