I completed my first ever 10k this weekend! Right at 1 hr and 15 minutes, too. Not too shabby! It’s definitely a mental thing, your mind keeps on telling you to quit… but you have to push through. At first I thought the people I didn’t know standing along the side of the road cheering were annoying, but it was really helpful towards the end. It was such a sense of accomplishment to cross that finish line! Of course, I’m still a little sore… oh well. That’s what I get for not running any distance for almost a month before the 10k.
We got new computers at work today. The screen is GINORMOUS! It’s seriously bigger than 2 out of the 3 televisions we have in the office. This is going to be nice…
Cameron is getting hitched this weekend AND I get to see my new guy. Consider me all smiles… and it’s only Monday!
