Top 5 highlights from my 3 day weekend:
1) I totally rock even more at Rock Band than I do at Guitar Hero. I even beat Bunker in most rounds with my guitar playing and singing skills. I should start a band and go on tour if my 90+% accuracy at Rock Band on medium level says anything about my success.
2) With my freckles and fair skin, I should always remember to wear sunscreen when playing tennis. My weekend tennis matches with Bunker and Phillip/Andrea/Guilio are quickly becoming a weekend must-do. I’m definitely getting lots of use out of my Christmas gift from Jay!
3) I will one day become my Great Aunt Catherine. As I sat at her kitchen table on Saturday afternoon while we chatted about the goings on in our lives, I quickly realized that my nact for keeping up with anyone and everyone I ever met is actually genetic.
4) Girls nights are a must in life. First the Vday event at mi apartamento, then a random night out at Matt’s El Rancho on Saturday night and then movie night with Cam on Sunday… a weekend with some of my favorite girls definitely kept me entertained. Virgin strawberry margaritas, not so much a must in life. Michelle and I realized that the essential ingredient in margaritas is definitely the tequila.
5) The Horns kick arse. And I’ve become quite accustomed to living life as a VIP. It doesn’t get much better than center court club passes, good seats at the game, and the Horns dominating the Aggies at well, just about anything.
